Inactivated Lactobacillus LB (L. fermentum and L. delbrueckii).
Description
Each dose (0.8mL) contains 5 billion of inactivated Lactobacillus LB.
Lacteol Baby is a food supplement composed of Lactobacillus LB, inactivated bacteria of human origin isolated in 1907.
Lactobacillus LB consists of two original, unique and well-established strains: L. fermentum and L. delbrueckii kept at the Pasteur Institute in France. The properties of Lactobacillus LB are specific to these two strains and cannot be extrapolated to other bacterial strains.
Lactobacillus LB contained in Lacteol Baby undergoes a heat-treatment inactivation; the heat-treatment allows to obtain a product that is neither sensitive to gastric acidity nor to antibiotic treatments. Moreover, the inactivation avoids the risk of infection by live bacteria that can cross the intestinal mucosa.
All its benefits allow Lacteol Baby to have a good safety profile in infants and young children while guaranteeing the properties of the product.
Ingredients: Glucose syrup, purified water, sucrose, inactivated Lactobacillus LB (L. fermentum and L. delbrueckii) (contain milk based products), acidity regulator (lactic acid), flavour (pear).
May contain soy, wheat and barley.
