Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (seasonal & perennial) & urticaria. 20 mg tab For adult & adolescents ≥12 yr. 10 mg orodispersible tab (ODT) For childn 6-11 yr w/ body wt of at least 20 kg.
Avoid use w/ P-gp inhibitors (eg, ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine, ritonavir, diltiazem) in patients w/ moderate or severe renal impairment. Advise patient not to drive or use machines until individual response to the medicinal product is established. Avoid use during pregnancy. Lactation. For childn 6-11 yr weighing at least 20 kg, use 10 mg ODT. Should not be used in childn <6 yr & under 20 kg.
