Adult 1 tab SL. Repeat dose after 5 min if symptoms are not relieved. If pain persists after a total of 3 doses in 15 min, seek medical advice immediately.
May be taken with or without food: Place tab under the tongue & allow to dissolve slowly. Do not swallow.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to glyceryl trinitrate or nitrates. Anaemia, raised pressure in the head (including those caused by head accident or bleeding on the brain, causing painful eyes, changes in vision & headache especially behind the eyes); glaucoma. Concomitant use w/ sildenafil or similar medicines (eg, tadalafil or vardenafil) used for erectile dysfunction.
Severe liver or kidney problems; under active thyroid gland; recent heart attack; hypothermia; malnutrition; hypoxaemia; very low BP or low blood vol or conditions that lower blood vol in the heart; heart conditions: narrowing of heart valves, inflammation of the heart, build-up of fluid around the heart or heart failure; cerebrovascular disease. Intolerance to some sugars. Avoid alcohol intake. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
