Effervescent tab/granulesAdult 600 mg daily (preferably in the evening) or 200 mg tds. Childn 100 mg bd-qds according to age. InjAdult & childnAerosol 1 amp once daily-bd for 5-10 days. Endobronchial instillation ½-1 amp once daily-bd or depending on requirement. Instillation or lavage of the ear, bladder, pleura, or other cavities ½-1 amp/application. Systemic use 1 amp by deep IM inj once daily-bd. Childn of school age ½ adult dose.
