Adverse Reactions

The most common undesirable effects in clinical trials were mild to moderate and of a non-severe character.
Undesirable effects that have been seen in treatment with Entocort capsules are shown in the table as follows. (See table.)

Typical undesirable effects from glucocorticoids (for example Cushing-like symptoms, growth inhibition and impaired wound healing), may occur. These undesirable effects are dependent on dose, treatment period, concomitant and/or previous glucocorticosteroid intake and individual susceptibility.
Clinical trials have shown that the frequency of glucocorticosteroid-related side effects is lower (about halved) with the use of Entocort Capsules than with prednisolone at the same therapeutic doses.
