Egoderm Ointment contains ichthammol 1% and zinc oxide 15% in a soft, paraffin base. It also contains methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.1% and propyl hydroxybenzoate 0.1% as preservatives.
Egoderm Ointment is lanolin-free and cortisone-free.
Indications/Uses
Alternative to cortisone preparations for sub-acute skin eruptions. Relieves irritation and symptoms of tender, itchy scratched or broken skin rashes, genital and anal irritation, minor cold sores, nappy rash and eczema. Suitable for adults, children and babies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to affected skin 3 times daily or as needed.
Contraindications
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients of Egoderm Ointment. Acute weeping dermatoses.
