Calamine has mild astringent action on the skin and is used to relieve the discomfort of dermatitis. Zinc oxide is applied externally as a mild astringent for the skin, as a soothing and protective application in eczema and as a protective for slight excoriations.
Indications/Uses
This oil-free preparation is a topical lotion for minor skin irritations such as itching due to insect bites, prickly heat, sunburn, napkin rashes and cosmetic rashes.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Wash and dry affected skin area. Apply sparingly to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily.
