This drug may cause drowsiness, temporary blurred vision, and transient mydriasis, if affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Remove contact lenses prior to ophth admin and reinsert after 10-15 min.

Description: Mechanism of Action: Naphazoline is an alpha adrenergic receptor agonist which causes vasoconstriction by stimulating arterioles of the conjunctiva and nasal mucosa thus reducing swelling, redness and discomfort when applied to mucous membranes. Onset: Conjunctival vasoconstriction: W/in 10 min. Duration: 2-6 hr. Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: May be absorbed systemically.
