Skin irritation Adult: For symptomatic relief of skin irritation associated with insect bites and stings, and nettle rash: As 2% w/w cream: Apply directly onto the affected area(s) 2-3 times daily for up to 3 days.
Child: >2 years Same as adult dose. |

Application to eczematous skin conditions, sunburned skin, or skin with extensively broken, cut, or grazed surfaces and on large areas of the skin.

Description:
Mechanism of Action: Mepyramine, an ethylenediamine derivative, is an antihistamine with antipruritic, sedative, and local analgesic properties. It blocks the binding of histamine on H1-receptor sites thus inhibiting the effect of histamine in the body. Synonym(s): Pyrilamine. |
