Albendazole

Indications/Uses

Single or mixed infestations by intestinal parasites.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >2 yr 400 mg or 20 mL as a single dose. Strongyloides infections 400 mg or 20 mL once daily for 3 days. Opisthorchiasis 400 mg or 20 mL bid for 3 days.

Administration

Should be taken with food.

Contraindications

Pregnancy.

Adverse Reactions

GI discomfort, dizziness, headache.
