Dicloxacillin Na

Indications/Uses

Infections of resp tract, skin & soft tissue, UTI.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult or childn >40 kg 250-500 mg 6 hrly. Childn 6-12 yr (<40 kg) 125-250 mg 6 hrly or 25 mg/kg/day divided dose 6 hrly.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take at least 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to penicillins & cephalosporin.

Adverse Reactions

Allergic reaction, GI disturbances.
