Surface anesth & lubricant for urethra during cystoscopy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Male Inj 7-10 mL until totally absorbed, use penile clamp for 2-3 min & inj the remaining drugs. For small operation use penile clamp for 5-10 min. Female 2-3 mL by the cotton bud & directly apply to the urethra.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to local anesth of the amide-type.
Special Precautions
Epilepsy, impaired cardiac conduction, hepatic or renal function, bradycardia & severe shock. Pregnancy. Lactation.
Drug Interactions
Increase toxic effects w/ other anesth or agents structurally related to amide-type local anesth.
