Nopal, also known as prickly pear cactus, is a cactus growing in North and South America and belongs to the subfamily Opuntioideae. Nopal has been widely consumed in Mexico since the ancient Maya and Aztec civilisations, where it is still extremely popular for its therapeutic and nutritional value.
Nopal has a distinct natural odour with no added preservatives or flavouring agents.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Povidone (binder), Citric acid (acidity regulator), Colloidal silicon dioxide (glidant), Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (emulsifier), Magnesium stearate (lubricant), Polyethylene glycol (binder).

Clinical experience (including the Mexican National Institute of Nutrition, University of Arizona and University of Vienna), indicates that NOPAL is associated with many beneficial health effects: Slimming: NOPAL is a natural slimming agent. Its high fibre content induces satiety and thus reduces the desire to snack between meals or overeat. NOPAL's soluble and insoluble fibres minimize fat uptake from food. Moreover, NOPAL maximizes the capacity of cells to burn body fat, thereby increasing the breakdown and excretion of fat. By this dual mechanism, NOPAL prevents new deposits of fat and burns existing fat.
In addition, NOPAL's proteins help reduce cellulite and fluid retention by pulling fluids from the tissues back into the bloodstream.
