Brinzolamide

Indications/Uses

Decreases elevated IOP in adult patients w/ ocular HTN or open-angle glaucoma as monotherapy in patients unresponsive to β-blockers, in whom β-blockers are contraindicated or as adjunctive therapy to β-blockers.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) bd.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to brinzolamide or sulphonamides. Hyperchloraemic acidosis. Severe renal impairment.
