Indications/Uses
Active immunisation for prevention of lower resp tract disease caused by RSV in adults ≥60 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not to be administered intravascularly or intradermally. Postpone vaccination in individuals suffering from acute severe febrile illness. Thrombocytopenia or any coagulation disorder; anxiety-related reactions eg, vasovagal reactions (syncope), hyperventilation or stress-related reactions. Patients on immunosuppressive treatment or w/ immunodeficiency. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Not recommended during pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Headache; myalgia, arthralgia; inj site pain, fatigue. Inj site erythema & swelling, fever, chills.
Drug Interactions
Administer at different inj sites w/ another inj vaccine.
