Indications/Uses

Reduction of sputum viscosity.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 8 mg tds, 6-12 yr 4 mg tds.

Administration

Should be taken with food.

Special Precautions

GI ulceration. Pregnancy (1st trimester). Infant & childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Occasionally, GI effects & transient rise in serum aminotransferase values.
