Contraindications
Pregnancy, lactation.

Special Precautions
Stop toloxatone 6 hr before general anaesthesia. Monitor BP at the start of treatment.

Adverse Reactions
Dysuria, nausea, constipation, vertigo, insomnia.
Potentially Fatal: Fulminant hepatitis. |

Drug Interactions
Increased risk of serotonin syndrome with SSRI, TCA. Increased BP with sympathomimetics. Increased concentration of triptans.
Potentially Fatal: Increased risk of hypertension and CNS excitation when given with MAOI, wait for 15-20 days after end of MAOI therapy before starting toloxatone. |

Food Interaction
Increased BP with large amounts of tyramine-rich food.
