Minoxidil

Indications/Uses

Treatment of male pattern baldness.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply 7 sprays (1 mL) bd to areas of baldness or hair loss. Massage scalp gently w/ fingertips. Max total daily dose: 14 sprays (2 mL).

Contraindications

Pregnancy, lactation.

Special Precautions

Avoid contact w/ eyes. Avoid use w/ other topical corticosteroids, retinoids & petrolatum or agents known to enhance cutaneous drug absorption.

Adverse Reactions

Scaling, dry skin, erythema/flushing, dermatitis, burning sensation & rash.
