2nd or 3rd line treatment of type 2 DM as monotherapy in adults inadequately controlled by diet & exercise for whom metformin is inappropriate; as dual oral therapy in combination w/ metformin in adults w/ insufficient glycaemic control despite maximal tolerated dose; as triple oral therapy in combination w/ metformin & sulphonylurea in adults w/ insufficient glycaemic control despite dual oral therapy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Initially 15 mg or 30 mg once daily. Dose may be increased in increments of up to 45 mg once daily.
