Indications/Uses
Topical treatment of acne vulgaris.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply once daily to affected area after washing in the evening or in bedtime.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Do not administer in damaged skin, sunburn, dermatitis, broad area of the body w/ severe acne.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity & allergy to propylene glycol & methylparahydroxybenzoate. Excessive exposure to sunlight including sunlamps every day or who inherently sensitive to sunlight. Avoid contact w/ eyes, lips, mucous membranes, & angles of the nose. Concomitant w/ other potentially irritating topical prep. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Erythema, scaling, dryness, pruritus & burning; mild & prick pain, flare.
Drug Interactions
Combination therapy w/ medicines containing sulfur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid.
